Nicholas H. Caskey, Ph.D. has been a consultant with Strachan Consulting for over a decade. His primary area of focus has been providing statistical data analysis. Dr. Caskey received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles and his bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He has been an author on 20 publications in refereed journals. Dr. Caskey has held management positions at the Department of Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Healthcare Center. His responsibilities there have included administration of a 321 bed rehabilitation facility and he has served on a number of committees focused on quality management issues. Currently, he is consulting within the hospital on organizational issues related to operating room personnel and he chairs a root cause analysis team investigating parasuicide incidents.
